Advanced industrial filtration solutions

Industrial Processing

Separation, cleaning, and purification of raw material and intermediate level products at different stages of production is one of the most important needs for industries and the manufacturing sector. Eaton’s commitment to providing technical, product, and application expertise in the filtration of liquids in industrial systems, not only enhances the industrial process, but minimizes the impact to businesses' financial and energy resources. Eaton has led the way with technology that meets the growing and rigorous demands of vital industrial sectors. Utilizing a variety of filtration technologies, Eaton has been able to consistently implement the best solutions available while continually striving to make a difference for customers and the environment. The product range of industrial filters is used in different types of industries including Chemical, Pulp & Paper industries, Power generation plants, Water Filtration applications and many more.

Chemical

Liquid is a main ingredient in the processing of chemicals, and efficient and effective filtration can improve your bottom line! Typical applications are catalyst recovery, removal of pipe scale, polishing of aqueous process fluids, alkalis, acids and solvents, filtration of emulsions and dispersions, gel removal from resins. Activated carbon or catalyst removal in the fine chemical industry is a typical example of a demanding application in chemical processing.

Adhesives

From the processing of raw materials like water, solvents and bulk solids, to quality assurance during bulk loading and filling, our comprehensive line of filtration products can improve your adhesive production process.

Colors, Pigments, Inks

Whether processing raw materials for production of colors, pigments dyes and inks, or refining finished product, Eaton's full line of filtration, separation, and strainer systems can help.

Paint and lacquer

Removal of agglomerates, removal of paint coagulates, solvent filtration, removal of storage contaminants, filling lines, paint mixing lines, and monomer purification. Eaton's bag filter housings are designed specifically for this kind of industrial applications.

Propellants, Explosives

Processing of sensitive, dangerous propellants and explosives demands using precise, repeatable, controllable machinery to ensure complete mixing and granulation. Learn how the efficient mechanically cleaned filter DCF-Series is ideal for these processes.

Rubber

Generating the tremendous shear forces necessary to mix compounds - including the introduction of elements like fillers, extenders, colorants and property - enhancing elements (such as flame retardants) requires an incredibly rugged filtration solutions.

Agro Chemicals

We support production of a wide range of agricultural chemicals with self-cleaning and bag filters. Our products have been successfully installed with: Atrazine, Fungicides, Gliphosate, Herbicides, and Insecticides.

Petrochemical

Whether preventing plugging of the strata at production site, maintaining a refinery catalyst bed, or providing final product filtration in a petrochemical plant, a filtration solution will help optimize your filter system.

Resins

Resin and Polymer production demands tremendous finished product quality and consistency. We offer batch and continuous filtration systems for gel removal, along with many other, types of resin and polymer filtration applications.

Automotive

Filtration of pre-treatment bath, filtration of e-coat, topcoat, and clear coat, primer, paint ring line filters, parts cleaning fluids, drawing compounds, lubricants, metalworking fluids, and pump intake filters. Learn more how our Eaton filtration solutions support these processes.

Manufacturing

Our turnkey systems include machine tool coolant filtration using our Filtration solutions and cooling tower and spray nozzle protection, along with various water and waste treatment applications.

Cooling Tower

Cooling Towers constantly cascade water to scrub airborne contaminants from the atmosphere and carry them into the cooling system. Eaton offers several backwashing filtration systems to accommodate a wide variety of specification.

Spray Nozzle Protection

Nozzles are specifically engineered for four critical functions: flow control, cleaning, coverage and atomizing. It is important to filter solids from water, or any industrial liquid, before they reach the spray nozzles. Learn how bag filters can help optimize this process.

Machining Fluids

As technologies improve and customer demands for quality increase, the tolerances on machined parts are getting tighter. This has increased the need for the filtration of finer debris during processing. Eaton's high-efficiency bag filter housings and filter bags maintain fluid quality over a significantly extended life-cycle reducing operating costs and minimizing environmental impacts.

Water treatment

The most common liquid in the world is water. It is used in most industrial plants and is the most frequent of our liquid filters. While water is the most common liquid, its use, state and the quality requirements when used, vary greatly.

Metal working

Minimizing residual dirt on parts in parts cleaning machines, pre-treatment system filtration, precious metal recovery, metalworking fluids, and drawing compounds. Eaton's high-efficiency bag filter housings and filter bags maintain fluid quality over a significantly extended life-cycle reducing operating costs and minimizing environmental impacts.

Air, gas and steam

Eaton's Gas Liquid seperators protect precious downstream equipment by effectively entrained solid and liquid particles out of compressed gas, air and steamlines

Pulp & Paper

Eaton offers filtration solutions on more various pulp and paper industry applications. These applications can be grouped into Surface Treatment, Water and Wet end additive categories.

Surface Treatment

Filtering helps monitor incoming raw material quality. Surface treatment applications where filters are installed include: Binders, Calcinated Clay, Defoamers, Dispersants, Finished Coatings, Ground Calcium Carbonate (GCC), Insolubilizers, Latex, PVAc, PVA, PCC, Pre Coater, Protein, Starch, TiO2, and Water Box.

Wet End Additives

Any debris or oversized, undissolved solids in an additive stream have the potential to cause off-quality product or to interrupt equipment operation. To maintain the cleanliness of an additive and prevent a host of problems throughout the process, Eaton recommends a filter at every step along the way. Investment in filtration can improve paper quality and prevent costly downtime.

Water

The role of filters in water systems has become increasingly important. Whether fresh water (intake) or "used" water (mill water or white water), the goal is to remove the oversized suspended solids. Filtration systems are used in a number of paper water processes, including: Membrane System Protection, Trim Squirts, Vacuum Pump Seal Water, and Showers.
