IQ 100/200 series

Eaton’s IQ 100 an IQ 200 series of electronic power meters offer high-end capabilities you would not expect from an ultra-compact meter. As the first line of defense against costly power problems, they can perform the work of an entire wall of legacy metering equipment utilizing today’s technology.

7 Important reasons for measurement and verification

  • Verification of the utility suppliers accuracy
    and integrity
  • Identification of energy-consuming loads
  • Contribute to LEED certification
  • Documentation of energy reduction efforts
  • Providing activity-based costing to departments,
    processes, and products
  • Establishment of a facility’s historical baseline
  • Development of utility rate comparison procedure

Core features

IQ 130/140/150

  • Compact design allows meters to fit into a standard ANSI or IEC cutout on a panelboard or other electrical equipment and fit easily into retrofit applications.
  • Realtime information about critical power parameters can be measured and displayed with a sampling rate of 400 samples per cycle.
  • Designed to integrate into Eaton’s Power Xpert Architecture where meters, gateways, and monitoring devices collaborate to create a unified Web-based view of the end-to-end power and facilities infrastructure.
  • Offering Modbus TCP as a communications option, allowing the meter to be directly monitored via Power Xpert Software or third-party monitoring solutions without a gateway.
  • Designed to accommodate firmware upgrades and capabilities to keep equipment up-to-date.
  • The meter can be programmed via menus and buttons on the display or remotely configured using Eaton Configuration software, which is provided with the meter for easy set up.
  • Large, bright red, three-line LED display with each line more than a half-inch tall makes display very easy to read, even if the meter is installed at a height or distance.

IQ 150S/250S

  • Self-enclosed, these meters are an ideal solution for surface mounting next to a selected piece of equipment for energy monitoring.
  • NEMA 12 enclosure with a large, easy-to-read faceplate, consistent with other Eaton meter models, designed with ‘knockouts’ for easy installation.
  • Ethernet communications option for either wired or wireless setup allowing for additional ease of installation and integration into existing networks.
  • Available data and alarm recording for historical records/trending.
  • Integrate into Eaton’s Power Xpert Architecture for a holistic system-level view.

IQ 250/260

  • Suited for primary revenue metering, and sub-metering applications, for high-end accuracy with the ability to sample at more than 400 samples per cycle and meeting ANSI C12.20 standards for accuracy of 0.2%.
  • Traceable KYZ watt-hour test pulse (used with a watt-hour pulse recorder or totalizer) allows you to verify the accuracy of your meter and, in turn, the accuracy of billing from the utility company and to internal customers.
  • Open Modbus protocol is used to communicate with Eaton or third-party platforms such as building management system, power management system, or Eaton's Power Xpert® Gateway for easy Web-based monitoring.
  • Optional data logging to guard against loss of historical data.
  • Two auto-detecting slots that accept any mix of four optional I/O cards, analog and digital allow the user to upgrade the meter with currently developed upgrades or even metering features yet to be conceived.
  • Designed to integrate into Eaton’s Power Xpert Architecture where meters, gateways, and monitoring devices collaborate to create a unified Web-based view of the end-to-end power and facilities infrastructure.
  • Large, bright red, always visual three-line LED display provides a display that is easier to read than traditional, LCD back-lit.
  • The meter can be programmed via menus and buttons on the display or remotely configured using Eaton Configuration software, which is provided with the meter for easy set up.

Wireless and high-end metering capabilities

Providing the first line of defense against costly power problems, Eaton’s IQ 150S/250S electronic self-enclosed meters can perform the work of an entire wall of legacy metering equipment using today’s secure wireless technology.

Reliable compact meters

Eaton’s IQ 250/260 meters provide direct-reading metered values for the most critical power aspects, such as watts, watt demand, watt-hours, voltage amperes (VA), VA-hours, vars, var-hours and power factor in utility and commercial applications.

High-end power management performance

Eaton’s IQ 100 meters provide high-performance measurement capability, and can be confidently used for primary revenue metering and sub-metering applications.
