João Faria

João Faria is president, Vehicle Group for Eaton, a global power management company. 

João became president in 2017. 

Prior to this, João led Eaton's Electrical business as vice president and general manager, Latin America, and served as the corporate president for South and Central America, as well as the president of the Hydraulics Business, Americas. 

João joined Eaton in 1987 as a materials engineer and has held several positions of increasing responsibility and leadership throughout his career. These include general manager for the Brazil Truck Transmission business; vice president, general manager, Valves and Valve Actuation, based in Italy; president, Powertrain Special Control Operations in Southfield, MI; and president, Vehicle Group for Europe, Middle East and Africa based in Italy. 

João holds a materials engineering degree from São Carlos Federal University, a master's degree in engineering and a master's degree in business administration, both from São Paulo State University.
