High Performance Cable Ladder (HPL) Series

Save tons of weight while improving performance with Eaton's B-Line series HPL cable ladder on offshore and modular construction applications.

B-Line series High Performance Ladder (HPL) series

Eaton's patent-pending high performance cable ladder reduces weight while increasing load capacity. Designed to literally save tons in overall weight on offshore and modular construction applications, the HPL cable ladder offers a unique combination of low weight and high strength. The high strength to weight ratio allows for increased load capacities and helps keep weight budgets in balance.

To achieve weight reduction and improve performance, the HPL Series utilizes a unique I-Beam steel rail design. The design maximizes the overall efficiency of the stainless steel product, allowing it to carry up to 2.3 times more load than a traditional C-channel side rail. This efficiency translates to a cable and environmental load increase while reducing weight by an average of five percent. Additionally, the I-Beam side rail is slotted to ease in the installation of splice plates and accessories, reducing the total installed cost.

The new HPL Series is available in a low carbon, three sixteen stainless steel material in 100 millimeter (mm), 125 millimeter (mm) and 150mm side rail heights. It has been tested in accordance to International Electrotechnical Commission (IEC) 61537 Test Type II and is both Det Norske Veritas (DNV) certified and American Bureau of Shipping (ABS) design assessed.
